Every year, Baby Loss Awareness Week takes place from 9 to 15 October. A week in which worldwide attention is drawn to infant mortality every year.
Support centre Nova is a member of the International Baby Loss Awareness Alliance and is in line with what has been discussed worldwide in the Netherlands.
The theme of 2022 was STEP BY STEP (STEPPING STONES international).
Through various activities, we want to raise awareness for baby loss.
Follow us on instagram and Facebook for all the latest information about the BLAW.

Every day we posted a card on our socials with the subtheme of that day and a short inspiration text compiled by Marlieke de Steur of the Hanne Foundation. We have published all stories that have been written and in which Steunpunt Nova is tagged with @steunpunt_nova on this page.

Nina Schipper, Babiche Lineman and Bianca Grondman, all three of whom have also lost a baby, started each morning with a short meditation that fit the theme of that day.
On Tuesday, October 11, they gave a beautiful yoga session live in Zaandam and Twente.
Everything can be viewed on our instagram page.

On Friday , we interviewed documentary maker Rowan Blijd about her documentary Stil Leven about the birth and farewell of Amari.

Can be viewed via YouTube and NPO.

On October 10 at 5.30 pm, broadcast from the WKZ, Utrecht and can be watched here.
